Most medical bills have an error. Find yours.
Snap a photo of your bill. Bill Fix reads every line, compares it to public Medicare pricing, and helps you write the letter that gets it fixed.
iPhone · English & Spanish · You only pay when there's a letter worth sending.
How it works
Two flows, one app: check a provider bill, or appeal an insurance denial.
Snap or upload
Take a photo of your itemized medical bill, or upload your insurance denial letter.
We check every charge
Each line is compared against public CMS (Medicare) reference pricing, and checked for duplicates and quantity errors.
Get a ready-to-send letter
A professionally-written dispute or appeal letter, ready to email, share, or export as a PDF. You review and send it.
Bill Check
Catch overcharges, duplicate charges, and billing errors on a hospital or medical bill — then dispute them with the provider's billing department.
Insurance Appeal
Upload a denial letter and Bill Fix drafts an appeal that cites the denial reason and your plan's own policy language — and flags your appeal deadline before it passes.
Honest, no-subscription pricing
Checking a bill is always free. You only pay when there's a real finding and a letter worth sending — no monthly fee, no commission on your savings.
Honest by design
Bill Fix gives you a strong, evidence-backed starting point — it doesn't promise a specific outcome. Most people who question a bill get some kind of reduction or correction, but results depend on your bill, your provider, and your insurer. We flag anything we can't read clearly rather than guessing, and we never sell your data.
Common questions
Is checking a bill really free?
Yes. We only charge when we generate a letter for you, and only when there's a real finding worth acting on. If your bill looks accurate — or the savings we find are under $200 — checking and the letter cost nothing.
What is "reference pricing"?
It's the public rate Medicare pays for the same billing code, published by CMS. It's a real, nationally-verifiable benchmark to open a conversation with a billing department — not proof of a legal violation. Actual adjustments depend on your specific bill and provider.
Will disputing my bill get money back?
We can't promise that. Independent, peer-reviewed research found most people who contact a billing office about a bill they disagree with get some kind of reduction or correction — but results vary. A Bill Fix letter is a well-evidenced starting point, not a guarantee.
Is my data sold or used for ads?
No. Your bill photos, extracted charges, and profile details are never sold to data brokers or advertisers, and never used to build an advertising profile.
Which bills work best?
An itemized U.S. medical bill works best — it lists each service with its billing code and price. Bill Fix is built around U.S. medical codes and public CMS pricing, so dental, vision, and non-U.S. bills aren't supported.
